Eze Hails Amaechi’s King’s College London Law Master’s As Another Academic Milestone

Erstwhile National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New People’s Democratic Party (nPDP) and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze has extended a heartfelt felicitation to former Rivers Governor and Nigeria’s ex-Transportation Minister, Rt Hon. Barr. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, for recording yet another academic feat in his pursuit of knowledge in the field of law.

In a statement made available to the media, Chief Eze said Amaechi bagged a Master’s degree in international corporate and commercial law from the prestigious King’s College, London, and would be receiving his certificate on February 1, 2025.

Amaechi’s academic journey in law began shortly after he left office as minister in the government of the late President Muhammadu Buhari.

Eze said with a Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree bagged from Baze University, Abuja, in November 2022, Amaechi proceeded to the Nigerian Law School, and upon his graduation, he was called to the Nigerian Bar as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

The Master’s degree adds to Amaechi’s impressive academic record, which began with his journey in the field of education at the tertiary level with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Studies and Literature in 1987 from the University of Port Harcourt, where he led students as President of the National Union of Rivers State Students (NURSS).

The APC Chief said Amaechi’s commitment to knowledge through education is a reflection of his lifelong commitment to self-improvement, serving as an inspiration to many and bringing to life the general saying, ‘learning never ends.’

Eze thanked the former governor for setting a record for younger people to embrace education as a veritable tool for knowledge, societal relevance, personal enlightenment and global awareness.
