IGP Disu Attends Commissioning Of Security Projects In Ogun

The Nigeria Police Force has announced the participation of the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, at the commissioning of key infrastructure projects in Ogun State, aimed at strengthening security operations in the region.

According to the Force, the IGP’s presence at the event highlights the strategic importance of security in Ogun and underscores ongoing collaboration between the Police and state authorities to protect lives and property.

A major highlight of the commissioning was the deployment of new security assets, including patrol vehicles and electric motorbikes, designed to boost operational efficiency and enhance rapid response across the state. The IGP commended the Ogun State Government for its proactive investment in security, noting that such initiatives are critical to maintaining peace and order.

Disu reaffirmed the commitment of the Police to working closely with stakeholders at both state and federal levels to tackle emerging security challenges. He assured residents of the Force’s readiness to sustain efforts toward ensuring public safety and supporting national development.

The Police also expressed appreciation to the Ogun State Governor and other dignitaries for their continued support in advancing security initiatives. Residents were urged to cooperate with law enforcement agencies and promptly report suspicious activities.
