The Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, on Wednesday received the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Nigeria, Salem Saeed Al-Shamsi, during a courtesy visit at the Force Headquarters in Abuja.
During the meeting, Ambassador Al-Shamsi congratulated the IGP on his appointment and reaffirmed the commitment of the United Arab Emirates to strengthening bilateral ties with the Nigeria Police Force.
He highlighted areas of mutual interest, particularly in security cooperation and capacity development.
In his response, IGP Disu expressed appreciation for the visit and goodwill, noting that sustained collaboration with international partners remains critical to enhancing policing capacity and improving public safety across Nigeria.
