… Describes His Assertions of systematically suppressing free speech as a display of sheer ignorance and stupidity
The Integrity Youth Alliance has described the petition by one Deji Adeyanju as an exhibition of complete ignorance and stupidity.
Reacting through a statement on Friday, 7th February 2025, made available to the media, the national coordinator of the Alliance, Kelvin Adegbenga, described Deji Adeyanju as a useless loon and valueless activist tradesman who has lost his cognitive abilities and is therefore unfit to coherently make any compelling logical presentation to support his campaign of calumny against Olumuyiwa Adejobi.
Highlighting that Adeyanju’s retort of falsehood does not qualify for a response, Adegbenga said it is, however, necessary to reply to the guttural utterance for clarity, stressing that Adejobi has never used his position in the Nigeria Police Force to target individuals critical of the government, contrary to Adeyanju’s unfounded claims.
“For the record, Adejobi never criminalised dissent in all his social media comments, and he has not deviated from upholding a high standard of professionalism in all interactions with the public and fellow officers, which is vital for maintaining credibility and respect within the community.
“Adejobi has never consistently defended police brutality and justified excessive force used by officers. It is on record that Adejobi has disciplined many personnel who engaged in brutality.
“Correcting Adeyanju’s baseless petitions. We call on the governments of the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the European Union to ignore and shred the flimsy petition by a mentally deranged activist and one who doesn’t know what security is all about, the statement concluded.
