The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has called on motorists to shun panic buying of premium motor spirit (PMS), popularly known as petrol.
In a statement released on Sunday, 18th August 2024 signed by Olufemi Soneye, Chief Corporate Communications Officer of the company, the NNPC said that the tightness in fuel supply witnessed in some parts of Lagos and the FCT is as a result of distribution challenges.
The Company further said it is working round the clock with relevant stakeholders to restore normalcy.
