CP Nadada Decorates Newly Promoted Officers; Harps On Professionalism

The Commissioner of Police, Nasarawa State Command, CP Umar Shehu Nadada, has decorated One Hundred and Forty-Three (143) Officers who were promoted from the rank of Inspector of Police to Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP II) with their new ranks.

According to a press release on Friday, 16th August 2024 signed by the Nasarawa State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ramhan Nansel, said that in his address, CP Nadada thanked the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun as well as the Chairman of Police service commission for finding the beneficiaries worthy of promotion, while congratulating the newly promoted officers, the Commissioner of Police charged the officers to be professional and civil to members of the public.

Furthermore, he urged the officers to brace up for the challenges/responsibilities that come with their new ranks and status; he admonished them to a change of behaviour as unprofessional conduct will be viewed seriously, and thereafter advised the officers to take proper care of their families and celebrate moderately.

“Your level and status have changed. Do not abandon your family; take proper care of them so that your impact will be felt”

Responding on behalf of the beneficiaries, ASP Zakari Magaji appreciated the Commissioner of Police for recommending them for promotion and assured him of productive performance.
