Navy Captain EE Owen (Rtd) has refuted an online publication credited to his name on the person of the newly appointed Administrator of River State, Vice Admiral Ibok Ette Ekwe Ibas (Rtd), over a case that was put to rest in 2022.
“I wish to state in very strong terms that these are the machinations of individuals who are in hiding behind my name and using misinformation as a propaganda tool to discredit Mr President at finding a veritable pathway for peace and, most especially, in the Niger Delta, Navy Captain Owen (Rtd) said.
He equally called on the authorities to bring these individuals to book.
