….. Recovers operational vehicle
The Nasarawa State Police Command on Tuesday, 13th August 2024 arrested two armed robbery suspects after receiving an information that suspected robbers riding in a Toyota Corolla 1994 model with Reg. No. Benue MKD 77 TF picked an unsuspecting passenger from New Nyanya en route Area 1, Abuja, but robbed the passenger of her handbag, iPhone and other valuables and threw their victim out of the moving vehicle.
According to a press release on Wednesday, 14th Auguat 2024 signed by the Nasarawa State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ramhan Nansel, said that upon receipt of the information, Police operatives attached to New Karu Area command in collaboration with public spirited individuals gave the criminals a hot chase and intercepted their vehicle.
Consequently, the duo of John Iorfa 29yrs and James Agbo 37yrs all of Makurdi, Benue State were arrested and items earlier robbed from the victim were recovered.
The suspects have made useful statements and effort is ongoing to arrest other members of the syndicate.
