In its continued battle against crime and criminality, the Nigeria Police has accomplished yet another milestone in its mission to rid the nation’s justice system of criminals, particularly kidnappers.
The notorious kidnappers and gun runners who have been terrorising Abuja, Kaduna, Kogi, and Nasarawa states were neutralised at their hideout around Gitata, along Keffi Gidan Wire Road, Nasarawa State, according to a press release signed by the Force PRO, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi. The release was released in the early hours of February 8, 2024. In a similar vein, a bag of ammo, four AK-47 rifles, and other potentially deadly weaponry were found.
The Force PRO says that these neutralised persons have also supplied weapons to bandits operating along the same axis.
“This successful operation, conducted in the early hours of Thursday, demonstrates the unwavering commitment of the NPF to ensuring the safety and security of all citizens. We will continue to employ all necessary measures to rid our communities of criminal elements and maintain peace and order across the nation, the statement concluded.
